Without sustainable supply chains, there is no destination net-zero for the event sector. The findings from the event temperature check report put other impact areas beyond audience travel under the magnifying glass, provoking the discussion about what is happening behind the scenes with the supply chain.

Going beyond cost savings to improve infrastructure, investing in technology and galvanising teams onsite and in the office, we hear how suppliers embed sustainability at the heart of their operations so that a net-zero future is viable.

Case Study: An Event to Inspire a Better Britain

In November 2022, rooted in the biomes of the Eden Project, TRO delivered the inaugural Anthropy. We explore with them the partnerships formed, the data gathered, plus the lessons learned in creating this three-day summit that exists to inspire a future for Britain which is more positive, sustainable, equitable and successful.

ExCeL London give an insight into the partnerships venue are forming to meet thier commitments in this next critical decade ahead and the work they have been doing to achieve them.

Roundtable: Creating 'Best Practise' Supply Chain Models

Harnessing the collective knowledge of the isla community, this roundtable session will explore the boundaries of responsibility within the sustainable event supply chain and unlock the ways in which we can support one another on our sustainability journey.

How to get there?

If you're NOT attending The Meetings Show, please use the following directions:

• Alight at Custom House DLR and follow the signage to CentrEd.
• You will walk past the West entrance, and follow the pathway down to the dockage / waterside.
• CentrEd is located approximately 5 minutes walk away, with only one entrance.
• Once in CentrEd, a security guard will be there directing you to the lift.
• Take the lift up to the South Galleries, level 2, where you will find us in rooms 18 & 19.

If you're also attending The Meetings Show:

• Please enter at any of the main entrances inside ExCeL, and walk towards the back/middle of the room.
• You will see large numbers on the back wall roller doors. The lift/stairs you want is located between south lorry doors 5 and 6.
• Take the lift up to the South Galleries, level 2, where you will find us in rooms 18 & 19.
